Our Mission Statement at Red Gates School is

We are a maintained primary special school for children aged 4 - 11 who have severe learning difficulties. We currently have 138 pupils on roll.  There are 17 classes and up to 10 pupils in a class, each with a class teacher and at least 3 teaching assistants.
