Red Gates Primary

What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium is government funding allocated to schools for children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM), or have been at some point over the last six years, for children who have been in care for more than six months (looked after children) and those children whose parents are employed by the armed forces. In this academic year (2016/17) the school anticipates receiving an additional £1,320 (FSM) and £1,900 (child looked after) for each child who is eligible.

Pupil Premium Funding (PPF) Expenditure Report

At Red Gates we want every pupil to make as much progress as they possibly can – academically, socially and emotionally. The funding is used to enhance pupil learning and ensure our pupils reach their full potential. As a special school we provide a range of specialist facilities, resources, therapy and support for all children.
