A huge CONGRATULATIONS to the music department for becoming a Music Mark member.
In order to become a member, the school needs to be nominated by their local music education hub/service and they need to meet the relevant criteria. The criteria includes: -
- Evidence of willingness to engage in development conversations related to improving music provisions.
- Recognition of the value of music education as part of a broad and balanced curriculum
- A strategy for music in place which provides for all children.
Music Mark works to enable our members, and the wider music education sector, to deliver high quality musical and social outcomes for all children and young people.
We have been recognised for all the hard work we do to ensure that pupils at school are able to access and engage with high-quality music education and for our dedication to offering and delivering a broad and balance curriculum.
“Music Mark believes in the fundamental right to experience a high-quality music education for all children and young people, in and out of their schools.” Bridget Whyte, Chief Executive
