Children who benefit from a sensory approach to learning. Moderate to high therapy input. Children grouped appropriately in regards to ability and social interaction. Emphasis on the development of independence and self-help skills. Sensory strategies timetabled throughout the day such as Intensive Interaction.

Purple (Early Years Foundation Stage)
Children in the Early Years follow the Red Gates Early Steps. This is a holistic, creative curriculum. Activities are mainly child-initiated and the emphasis is on learning through play. Children are encouraged to be independent and to play cooperatively with peers where possible. Strategies such as TEACCH, PECS and Attention Autism are introduced in the Early Years.
